For Valentine’s Day, I’m sharing the love – take a sneak peak at our glass water bottles that we’re set to debut this March. You can see the beauty of the glass – the result of its design and of how it’s made. It’s a beautiful process, have you seen it?
In our excitement to share our upcoming debut, I realized you might be asking just what is the International Home + Housewares Show? We found this video to be a good recap of just who is at the show and just what you might expect. Enjoy!
In just a few weeks, we’ll be debuting BottlesUp glass water bottles at the acclaimed International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. From March 6-8, more than 60,000 people from around the world will come to see the latest, greatest and most interesting products available for the home and housewares. With more than 21,000 retail buyers coming to the show, we hope they’ll take the opportunity to bring BottlesUp glass water bottles to you. Our blend of design, beauty, functionality, responsibility – all in one bottle – can make a difference for your health and the environment.
If you’re going to the show in Chicago and want to connect, feel free to email us at jschmitt(at)cloudspark(dot)com. And if you’d like to share any of Chicaog’s best new dining secrets, our foodie team would be very thankful.
The fun folks at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Wash. put together this great animation film on the history of glass. One thing you might learn? The expansio of the Roman Empire had a tremendous impact on the popularity of glass. Click below and see what fun trivia you can drop at your next get-together.
If you’re like me, you’re one of the more than 70% of Americans who rarely or never look at the Yellow Pages – the behemoth book of business listings that comes unannounced to our doorsteps. I live in an area where I get not just one, but four different of these kinds of books every year. Four! And while, I faithfully recycle these books, but the damage is done. They were already printed, transported and delivered wasting precious resources on a product few of us use in our homes.
Now, however, we can opt out of receiving any of the Yellow Pages that litter our doorsteps, thanks to the trade association that manages Yellow Pages. To opt out, click over to www.yellowpagesoptout.com and register. You have to enter your address and phone number, but a note from the trade association on the page promises that this information won’t be used for any purpose other than the opt out
It’s not just by recycling plastic and using resuable glass water bottles that can help your health and the environment, you can stop paper waste from showing up at your doorstep with one easy click.
